I really tried hard designing Bella, so many sketches and asking all my animation and storyboard teachers. Even those who are not art Teachers so i had different points of view and opinions.
I based her a lot on myself. (red hair and freckles) of course people will think i based her on Kyle or something like that. (i didnt pair her in the show, i prefer more independent characters.)
Thanks God you understood the scene with the tongue! People kept asking me why she had her tongue out... I told them : "When you play a cards game, for example, didnt you at least once lick on it and let it hang from your tongue?" And they look at me with a weird face : "...You are a funny girl, ya know?"
Good use of perspective in the image. I'm not an artist, but I can see that you took a challenging angle on the sofa and rug.
By the way, if you have a few minutes, check out some of the work done by TVsKyle (Kyle) and ReedGunther (Chris) on dA. Both these guys are amazing artists, they both have professional experience drawing Fanboy and Chum Chum, and they're two of the nicest guys ever! Maybe they'll even have an encouraging word or two to say about your art!
More than an interpretation, its a whole episode you did there! Im impressed!Astonished! I would need a bit of your brain so i could finish my comic works ( Your brain is not in sale, i know xDDD Ill try and get a bit of that of my classmate when she sleeps at class. She will not notice it.)
Now coming back a bit to seriousnes (something i have a lack of sometimes). Thankyou. I tried a strange perspective in the drawing. It didnt work that good i wanted, but at least it still looks like a sofa. I like to challenge myself and keep improving. Sometimes im a bit lazy... but who not?
Oh, believe me, yesterday night i checked through Kyles gallery and i was amazed by a specific character. Weird Eddie, (if i remember the name right). I like a lot his expressions and poses. To do those faces with so less space on that head is a big challenge. And i must say, i always loved creepy sweet characters. I grew up with Tim Burton movies and my favorite character, Beetlejuice. (love ghouls, strange hobby xD)
I didnt take a look at ReedGunther. Thanks for the tip.
You want me to show them my art? Im shy, very shy! I still wasnt able to write that comment at Eric Robles to show him the drawing i did for him. I would need Boog with a menacing Fist behind me to finally write at Robles.
But i have to, i have to.
Just to show you, you dont need to comment it xD. I like to show you my art. Then you decide to take a look or just throw it at me.
